MUSE es una banda de rock alternativo formada en 1994 cuyo primer disco, Showbiz fue lanzado en
1999 tras lo cual realizaron una gira de conciertos por Europa y Australia, a este album le

seguiria
Origin of Symmetry en 2001 de tono mas oscuro que el anterior, al igual que el siguiente album Black
Holes and Revelations (2006), cambiando a un tono mas orquestal en The Resistance (2009),
aunque obteniendo un tono mas suave en su ultimo lanzamiento The 2nd Law, cuay cancion Survival
fue la cancion oficial de los Juegos Olimpicosa de Londres 2012.
El estilo de MUSE se caracteriza por lograr la fusion entre una enorme diversidad de generos tales
como el rock progresivo, heavy metal y la musica electronica concretamente dubstep.
Sus miembros son: Matthew Bellamy (compositor, voz, guitarra, teclado y piano); Dominic Howard
(batería y percusión); y Christopher Wolstenholme (bajo eléctrico, teclados y coros) y
ocasionalmente Morgan Nicholls contribuyendo con sintetizadores, coros y algunas partes de teclado.
